The Project

Thanks to funding from the Access to Justice Foundation’s “Improving Outcomes Through Legal Services” funding, Community Law Service is now delivering advice to members of The Hope Centre’s Community Larders

Recognising that many people who are members of the larders are facing financial hardship but may have difficulties accessing advice, Community Law Service approached The Hope Centre to explore the possibility of collaboration, which was welcomed.  Community Law Service made a successful application for funding to The Access to Justice Foundation; The Hope Centre generously also made a contribution to the funds.  This combined funding enables 2 full time advisors to work with the Community Larders and their members.

Delivery began in July 2023

Advice is available to anyone who is a member of a Hope Community Larder.

Specialist Welfare Benefits and Debt advice is available.
